We are actively seeking an energetic, focused and qualified candidate to fill the position of Sales Engineer – Indonesia. This position is responsible for direct and distributor sales of fluid and motion control products, focusing on valves and pneumatics components in the Commercial, Industrial & Machine Automation markets , within Jakarta and fully supports the Sales and Marketing functions in growing the business by providing timely professional and commercial assistance to customers.

Job responsibilities:
   » Meet or exceed monthly and yearly sales targets and quotas assigned by management.
   » Undertake the function to develop new accounts and cultivate existing accounts, performing analysis of customer technical data to better understand customers’ applications and providing timely and professional customer-specific solutions/responses.
   » Organizes and conducts sales and technical presentations to existing and potential customers
   » Execute sales with OEM and end-user customer accounts as well as authorized distributors in the general industries including process automation, electronics, food and packaging industries through cooperative selling and strategic planning.
   » Negotiate tender and contract terms, review customer POs, manage timeliness and ship dates.
   » Offer pre-sales and post-sales support services to ensure positive customer practice.
   » Act as the focal point building prosperous relationship and key interface between customers, marketing and engineering to achieve assigned sales and corporate goals.
   » Conduct product and application training sessions at distributors or customer sites.
   » Maintain a high degree of technical expertise required to sell effectively in fluid and motion control industries.
   » Generate call reports on a weekly basis and present to management in order that full expertise of sales activities of the territory are recorded.
   » Prepare and submit weekly activity itineraries to the manager on a timely manner.
   » Attend sales meeting and trade shows/conferences at the request of the Company.
   » Works closely with customers’ and convey their requirements to Product Marketing Team.
   » Represent the Company in a professional and ethical manner.
   » Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
   » Minimum three (3) years sales practice and/or proven prosperous track record selling to the fluid and motion control markets, focusing on valves and pneumatic components.
   » Excellent sales expertise with the capability to sell direct and via indirect distribution channels.
   » Strong relationship builder with a strong desire to win against competition.
   » Excellent interpersonal and communication expertise for working with customers and in-house personnel.
   » Excellent organization expertise and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
   » Highly motivated self-starter, energetic, aggressive and focused.
   » Team player mentality and capability to work cross-functionally.
   » Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
   » Possess own transport.
