JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Business Development Manager is to acquire new business through the application of effective sales techniques. He or she is expected to develop and sustain consciousness regarding the company’s products and services, as well as negotiate and close business contracts. A full company onboarding/training process would be provided for the candidateJob Responsibilities » Executes tactical plans to meet and exceed growth sales targets on a monthly basis » Maintains a healthy sales pipeline at all times by continually engaging new clients. » Conducts sales presentations and carry out meetings with clients. » Facilitates service trials if necessary. » Prepares and presents written proposals and price quotations, making sure that all products and services are given equal sales attention. » Closes deals at appropriate price levels and completes all accreditation requirements imposed by the clients before hand-over to the Account Management Team. » Actively participate in all internal training, new product briefing and testing if and when needed, and communicate feedback to significant internal stakeholders. » Maintains high standards in terms of personal sales discipline, work ethic, and professionalism. » Ensures documentation and record-keeping of sales activities is updated in a timely manner. Requirements » Must have at least 4 years’ practice in sales, preferably in a B2B environment or niche service industry; a positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities. » Corporate and/or Government sales practice and expertise of the market, current media issues, competitor behavior, and strategy. Exposure to the Communications, PR, Advertising or Marketing is deemed desirable. » An added advantage for sales practice in SaaS (Software as a Service), Digital or Social and proven practice in acquiring and selling to new customers » Proven capcapability in hands-on problem solving, with the capability to generate ideas and solutions; self-motivated and results-driven; a genuine interest in mass information and current events. » Excellent organizational and time management expertise and capability to work under pressure. » Excellent written and oral communication expertise in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
