JOB DESCRIPTIONPosition : Management TraineeWork Country/Regional : Brazil, Papua New Guinea, Vietnam, India, Singapore and Japan &nb sp; & nbsp; ; &nb sp; & nbsp; Reporting to : Asia managing director GENERAL WORK DESCRIPTION Participate in the Ecom Management Trainee Program to acquire overall knowledge of Ecom’s main business functions. During a general 24-36 month internal training program, the trainee could complete 3–12 month assignments in various origin operations and trade offices. Upon completion of the program and depending on expertise, performance, interests and availcapability, the trainee will be eligible for a mid-level management position in trading, finance or operations in one of Ecom’s origin operations or trade offices according to company’s needs and opportunities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES » Develop overall knowledge of following business functions, in origin country locations and/or Group trade offices: » Physical Commodity (procurement, quality, inventory, primary processing, etc.) » Logistic (internal logistics, procedures and regulations, purchase and sales contracts, invoicing process, shipping documentation, arranging shipments, etc.) » Trade (internal supply chain, trading concepts and mechanism, market structures, forward book, client relationship management, hedging, FX, Profit & Loss, etc.) » Finance/Accounting (bookkeeping, financial systems, FX positions, balance sheet, risk mitigation, month end activities, budgeting, etc.) » MIS and HR (group systems development, core applications and information flow, HR policy, organizational structure, management development, recruitment, training, leadership abilities, etc. EDUCATION, PRIOR WORK practice, AND SPECIALIZED expertise/KNOWLEDGE: » Fresh graduates or graduates with 0-3 years of practice » Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree preferably in Management, Finance/ Accounting, Agricultural or Engineering » has practice working abroad (either student or working practices), and availability to travel frequently even in the remote areas sometimes » Excellent communication expertise » Strong leadership abilities capability, initiative, and a team player » Flexible, adaptable, open-minded & geographically mobile » High learning agility » Good command of English; Spanish, French, Portuguese or any other language a plus COMPANY OVERVIEWWe are multinational company, a Switzerland-located company, with origin operations in over twenty countries and sales merchandising offices in the U.S. Europe and Asia.
