About the Head of Sales function:
In this function, you will provide the local strategic vision and P&L accountcapability for the business development (BD) and property management (PM) teams.
Key Job responsibilities:
» Be responsible for P&L of the market which entails acquisition and portfolio management of inventory supply and quality
» Build and drive quarterly and annual sales including building business plans that outlines opportunity levers across the market
» Lead and scale business development across all product offerings
» Build accountcapability within the teams by developing improved metrics and supported with coordinated incentive plans
» Work with group functions to ensure hotel operations and standards are within the standards
» Provide a neutral perspective between supply and quality of property inventory
To succeed in this Head of Sales function, you will need to prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities and maintain profitcapability while achieving targets including expansion activities.
» practiced executive in the online industry with strong commercial acumen and a prosperous record of growing a business. Travel and hospitality domain expertise is a preferred. At least eight years of significant practice
» Degree in economics, finance, business administration, or an equivalent academic field from a leading university. Business post graduate is a plus
» Understand the industry and its developments - including competitor models, market trends and; landscape, accommodation rate structure and yield management, connectivity options and customer booking trends
» Strong leadership abilities and direction in establishing a culture which is customer focused and operational excellence
